I always thought the Virginian was kind of a strange
place sandwiched in between the Cal Neva and City
Hall (old First National Bank). The casino was on different
levels and there were several levels of parking that was
accessed by a lift located in the narrow alley in the back.
I was going to try it out but never did. It reminded me of
of Harolds Club Pigeon Hole Parking garage where I did
park. ( I remember the loud clanking noises it made
when retrieving your car). The casino was later absorbed
into the Cal Neva and the hotel became Siegel Suites but
I’m not sure of the current status.
