Every year at convention and WSOP time PokerChipper.com hosts an event called "The Mauler in the Baller"

This event was inspire by a couple in the sets community who hosted an event in a high end suite at the Nobu at Caesars, it was such a nice event that I couldn't wait to sign up for the following years event. When I asked the hosts when next years event would be I was told that it wasn't planned as a regular event so I decided to host a NLHE tournament sponsored by my web site and make it really special for our members who come to Vegas for the WSOP and the CCA convention. After many postings on the site discussing the event a member suggested we get a really cool presidential type suite to host the game, someone said lets get a BALLER suite! Well we did and the 1st annual "Mauler in the Baller" took place with 3 tables of 10, at my home away from home the Mandalay Bay on the 62 floor Penthouse level! The room was awesome, the views of Las Vegas from the top floor of the Bay were spectacular and we all had a great time, had a great meal together at break time and some even won a couple bucks!

Since that 1st event I have hosted that tournament and we've had some pretty great times in some pretty special suites!

This will be the 5th year of this tournament and a friend in the CCA asked if wed be interested in hosting the tournament in a poker room, closer to the convention and easier access for the players and folks in the club. I thought that was a great idea and brought the idea to the regulars! That would be cool, a poker room takeover! Soooo.... That became this years theme, the PokerChipper Poker Room Takeover"!

The tournament will be held Tuesday, June 16th 2026 at the South Point Hotel's poker room in Las Vegas! Look out South Point, PokerChipper.com's taking over!

If you are interested in participating in the tournament feel free to visit the site and request being added to the list! All are welcome but we will have a limit on attendees to better serve the event.

There is developing an attendees list, a "maybe" list and a wait list should we fill up.
