Before he moved to W. Fourth st., Johnny’s Little Italy
was located on E. First st. behind the Mapes Hotel. It
was one of my favorite restaurants. I remember Johnny
would come around to our table and make sure everything
was OK. Once I was shaking some Parmesan cheese on
my food and Johnny unscrewed the top and helped me out.
I loved the cannoli there.
