
() But it's a club. It's a hobby. The CCA is about a special interest group of people who are interested in the collectibles as a hobby. It's not a business. We don't need a business plan, a CEO, or some big structure to build into a profitable "non-profit".
While I admire the magazine, the people, and the devotion, which have all been just wonderful. And I mean above anything that would reasonably be expected. The time for growth has passed. It's a hobby, and hopefully, people participate for entertainment and personal enjoyment. It's not based on some growth marketing plan, for building something big. It's a club.
Lets all enjoy and share, please.
Some day when I win the lottery or have a retirement from daily life, I'd still like to make the convention...Just One Time! I've been in awe of the group and the people and that once a year meeting, forever. It all about people and friends and a common interest.
Thanks for bringing up your opinion, because I agree. I just didn't want to rock the boat.
