Acorn Ridge Casino Celebrates Today's Grand Opening

The Ione Band of Miwoks began celebrating the opening of the new Acorn Ridge Casino today at 10 AM. The $110M boutique casino is located in Plymouth, Amador County, CA about 40 miles southeast of Sacramento.

The grand opening included free giveaways and prizes, live entertainment, and special promotions.

Last night a private ribbon-cutting ceremony and soft opening were held at 6:00 pm for tribal members, local officials, media and other invited guests. The event was followed by a drone show at 6:15 pm.

Acorn Ridge Casino is single-story, 60,000 sq-ft with a 25,205 sq-ft gaming floor, 484 slot machines, 12 table games, a restaurant and bar, a grab-and-go, and an outdoor entertainment venue.
