Fellow collectors,
I appreciate hearing everyone’s passion for the club. It’s clear that many of us care deeply about its history, its friendships, and the memories built over the years. That foundation is important and worth protecting.
Where my focus is a bit different is on what the next chapter looks like.
I do not believe the CCA is broken. I do believe it must grow.
Growth does not require drastic change. It requires intentional outreach, welcoming new collectors, modern communication, and making sure people outside the club understand the value of belonging. The way people find hobbies and communities today is different than it was 20 or 30 years ago. If we want to see an upward swing, we have to meet that reality head on.
Retention matters. Organization matters. But if we are not consistently bringing in new energy, new collectors, and new engagement, the numbers will continue to trend in one direction.
Having spent decades leading businesses, serving on boards, and building collector communities, I’ve learned that organizations do not grow by accident. They grow because leadership makes growth a priority.
My goal is simple:
Grow membership.
Strengthen engagement.
Unite collectors.
Keep the hobby vibrant.
I’m not running to manage decline. I’m running to reverse it.
Respectfully, and focused on the future,
Dan
