Seeing is how I live in Reno and would be the first person that would love to have an event here in town, I would be the first to know. As it stands, however, there are no plans to hold the convention anywhere, but the Southpoint. David begins negotiations with Southpoint for the 2027–2028 years beginning in May, which is the earliest that Southpoint will allow us to begin negotiations. Hopefully, the recent depression in business in Las Vegas will allow us to negotiate better terms for ourselves. We shall see.

But just to get the temperature in the room, how many of you would like to see the June convention or perhaps some midyear show put on by the CCA be held in a different town. Not necessarily Reno. Tell us where you think a good location would be and why.

But just to reiterate, there are zero plans to move the convention out of Las Vegas.
