Originally known as the Reno Hotel, it became the Ramada Reno
that you posted on 2-5-26. In 1999 it became the Speakeasy, a
gangster themed hotel. I used to stop in as I had an apartment
nearby. The casino was on a lower level and you could stand on
the stairs and watch the action which wasn’t much. There was a
faro table but I never saw it open (it may have for display only.)
According to the internet the hotel is now the Reno Regency and
rents apartments by the month.
