I would like to take this opportunity to remind EVERYONE that we are not going to allow this election to devolve into a cesspool of negativity, are we?

Please ** SUPPORT ** your candidates of choice and ****** DO NOT BASH ***** their opponents. I've said that on multiple occasions and am surprised to see a need to remind you all once again.

Keep the plaintive "Teacher, teacher, look what Johnny said" and "Well, he started it" juvenile BS buried deep in the recesses of your own minds. It holds no merit. It makes you look petty. It often shows a proclivity to live in the past and MY tenure is all about looking forward, making improvements, and creating a thriving, growing association of like-minded people.

Just pretend the Chip Board doesn't exist for the next few months. Everyone will be just fine without your presence here (and maybe mine as well, to be fair).

P.S. It wouldn't bother me in the least to see any previous negative posts get deleted, hint hint. In fact, it would demonstrate one's readiness to wear big boy pants.
