There is something new on the ChipGuide, Nevada Phone Books. The ChipGuide is working in collaboration with Pam Goetler to put old Nevada Phone Books on the ChipGuide. The phone books are both white and yellow pages and provide a wealth of information about casinos and the people who worked there. We are starting with about 6 phone books, but will be adding more every day. We will not have entire yellow books, just the sections that deal with casinos. Otherwise the books would be too large to use. It may take a little while for the phone books to load, some are over 100MB. It is fascinating reading through the old phone books, seeing the advertisements for the old clubs, phone#'s (some are just a couple of digits) and the addresses. WOW!

Thanks to Pam for her enthusiasm and the tireless hours she spent scanning the phone books. And it was Pam's idea after all.
