Having looked at the post Barry made with the Club Email addresses, it strikes me that there is a serious lack of Club officers who are not picking up some of the positions that Barry has undertaken.

The Membership Director and the Treasurer have their hands full. The Vice President, Jim Follis, has not stepped up to fill the gaps. I know from his days in the SNCCC that he could easily take over any of these positions. He did so on many occasions.

His Lack of commitment and drive is a common situation. According to our Constitution, the Vice President's duties are to assist the President. Why is he not involved? Not knowing the board's internal strife, I find it

hard to believe that Barry has not approached him for help. If he has, and Jim Follis has refused, that sends a clear message concerning his feelings for the Club. We need a Vice President who will engage

and bring something to the table. We do not need a maintainer or cheerleader. We need someone with experience and knowledge to serve on our board. Knowing Jim's background, I know he lacks the

knowledge to make sound decisions that affect our Club. This election is not about popularity or feeling grateful to someone for being involved. We all need to start thinking about the future, and who better to get us there?

Barry needs directors who share his vision and offer sound knowledge.

Those who have posted endorsements are not helping the Club. We must listen and ask questions to see what the candidates have to offer and decide what's best for the Club.

Wake up, everybody, and do a reality check on the Club. Our numbers are dying, and we must do something about it now before it's too late.

Jerry
