How does Monday, March 9th @ 6pm Pacific sound?

Hi all. Sorry for being late to this thread. I would be happy to set up the zoom meeting for this. I would recommend we hold this meeting on March 9 at 6pm PT because a) the magazine is scheduled to come out around March 15th (ish), so the meet & greet would still be fresh in people's minds when they receive their ballots, b) Mondays seem to have the fewest conflicts for most people, and c) I'm going on vacation the following week and I feel it's my duty to oversee this event.

Here are my proposed "rules of engagement":

1. I will fire up the meeting at 5:55pm so people who want to login a bit early can do so. There can be idle chit-chat among those logged in but NO POLITICAL SPEECHES OR QUESTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.
2. We open the meeting PROMPTLY at 6pm.
3. We will go in the following order:
. a. VP: Jim Follis, Dan Madrigrano, Ed Hertel
. b. Secretary: Bob Pardue, Wendy Schultz
. c. At Large #2: Richard Huber, Bob Miksztal, Rick Lonski
4. Each candidate will be given up to 2 minutes to introduce themselves, offer their credentials/history, and discuss their plans for the club should they be elected.
5. (Optional?) For up to 3 minutes, guests can then pose CLARIFYING questions about statements the candidate made to that candidate only. No delving into the past, he said/she said arguments, no whining, no statements of support, no bashing the competing candidates, etc. Doing so will likely cause me to whack the unjoin button on your b*tt with malice aforethought. vbg The same question can be asked of multiple candidates, but no referencing other candidates by name (eg, "Your opponent says there will be donuts in the break room. How do you intend to compete with that?")
6. After that, I will invite Doug Smith to talk for up to 5 minutes about the election process, how to fill out the ballot, what to write on the envelope, when to get it sent in by, etc.
7. That's 16 minutes of presentation, 40 minutes of Q&A, and 5 minutes of Doug, taking up a solid hour of everyone's time but giving everyone a pretty good idea of who's running and why.
6. After that, we'll end the call and hopefully everyone will be left with a very positive impression of how lucky we are to have so many people wanting to participate in the direction of the club going foward. I know I'm encouraged and hope to see this level of involvement in every election going forward.

Candidates, what say ye? Sound good? If so, I'll set it up and post a link here and on the club discussion section of the club's forums (where this stuff SHOULD be getting discussed, haha).
