I used to have an apartment a couple of blocks from
this place so I’d stop in occasionally. They had a dime
crap game and faro table which I never saw open. It
was located on Sixth street, in a crummy part of town.
It was as far off the beaten path as you could get. I’m
surprised it lasted as long as it did.
