The reality is the chipboard runs on Tetra-WebBBS software released in 2012, the same year Tetra ceased operations. Unless David is a coder or has access to one, the chipboard is running on software that hasn’t received bug or security patches in 13 years. The longer it remains in its current state, the greater the risk of an unrecoverable failure. Those archived messages are an invaluable resource for chipping information, and I’d hate to see them lost. Change is difficult, but this is a change that needs to happen.
