() This is not a major point of debate for me, but I'll toss these references out there to compete with AI's answer --
Here's the manufacturer's sample chips for Jack Todd (mostly based in Kansas City, MO). But after his death in 1950, it appears Christy & Jones (Las Vegas) bought the mold, or rights to use it. See 2 ChipGuide entries:

In contrast, TRKing (Kansas City MO 1924-31, then Los Angeles 1931 to 2006 close) was always known for its Large Crown and Small Crown mold chips. See ChipGuide entry:

It's not clear what source AI used for its write-up. Could it be from an eBay chip listing from seller "Al's Vegas Casino Collectibles Plus"? They also do business as "luckytoboat". Al (last name Polyulikus, or something like that) was based in Las Vegas, and I bought chips from him back in the day. (He's passed on now.) His nephew (I think it is) in the Chicago area is the current eBay seller using the "Al's ... " seller name. Al was quite knowledgeable about chips, so maybe there was a "radial diamonds" and TRKing connection? I'd have to know more.
However, until someone "s'plains" it to me otherwise, where I can connect the dots, I'm putting my money on Jack Todd as the main source for all but the post-1950 radial diamonds mold chips. Ricky, are you out there?
Anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller?
