The Live! Casino Virginia opened a few days ago in Petersburg, Virginia, just south of Richmond on I-95. Similar to the temporary facility at Caesars in Danville, Virginia, this is a tent-like building that will be replaced by a permanent casino-hotel upon its completion in 2027. The casino is spacious and colorful with a wide variety of slot machines, video poker machines, and table games. The table games include blackjack (both 3/2 and 6/5), double-zero roulette, baccarat, and several different poker games. Table minimums (on a Thursday midday) were $25 with the exception of 6/5 blackjack which was $15. The 25c Deuces Wild machines that I saw all had 13/4 pay tables. I spotted chips from $1 to $1000, but was unable to secure an image of the $500 or $1000 chips - will leave that to someone with deeper pockets.
