Most of my "coin capsules" (generic term) are made by Air-Tite and a good online source is JP's Corner. But they are the ones that fit flush.

I have purchased a few chips with the lip you're referring to, but I don't know who makes them.

One alternative is some coin capsules made / sold by Lighthouse supplies. They have a whole catalog of stuff, and their capsules have what's described as a "thumb cut for easy opening". See their product on Amazon, and click on the 3rd picture for a close-up of the thumb cut. Link:

Lighthouse has its own page here:

Complete with a multi-page supplies catalog, etc. I bought from them before but not their coin capsules (either direct fit, or with the inner ring, which I prefer.)

If you're looking to fit regular size chips, they are usually 39-40mm diameter, though maybe you're looking to fit oversize chips or something else?

Maybe just order a box of 10 from Amazon and see if you like them? They only average $1.50 each, delivered.
Good luck. grin
