Before the Peppermill, there was the Hill and Sons motel
on the site. I remember, across the street, was a neon sign
that depicted a lady jumping off diving board in varios
stages advertising the place. To me, the Peppermill is just
another Vegas style joint that has taken over Reno. I miss
all the old downtown places and neon signs that are now gone.
