The Palace dates back to 1880 and had continuous gambling
even when it was outlawed. Warren Nelson introduced Keno
there in 1936. I played there in the 60s and 70s after the the
place had been renovated in 1964 when the large neon sign
was installed. The place closed in 1979 and torn down (last
two photos)
