Until the MEMBERSHIP votes to alter the makeup of the board through a change of the constitution, we follow the rules. The idea of eliminating one or both at large positions has been discussed but I believe we have interest from some fairly active member(s) who would like to run for the open position, so I believe our current position is to keep things as they are and see how the next one or two election cycles go and evaluate the participation levels and effectiveness of the members holding those positions to see if they should be continued or abandoned.
