I think many of us could authenticate chips, however, slabbing should be left to the professionals as there are many slabs you can get as an individual but they are not tamper proof.
I love the idea though but as you know there are some here that would consider this a "foot in the door" to the big companies,,,,,, (which I still haven't heard one good reason that they are shunned.

Again, I have no chips that are that high value, well maybe a couple, but I think people should do what they think is the right thing. Chips are clay, I've dropped an airtight and had the chip pop out so airtight as suggested by many isn't the BEST answer.

Like many I am not anti slabbing or pro slabbing for the hobby in general.
