This (validation) was my main thought/reason for supporting those who choose to submit their chips to the grading/slabbing companies. There are lots of notes in The Chip Rack related to fake/counterfeit/re-makes of chips to beware of so it would be great if an entity could figure out best practices to verify the authenticity of chips and other collectibles and put a stamp of approval on them.
