I haven't noticed anyone on this board insulting you, or, over the last few weeks, anyone, but there is a decent chance that anyone who has was not in the club.

As to your point about the at-large membership position. It was created as a position for two purposes. One is to get an influx of new ideas. The other is to give people who want to run for office a way to learn about what the club does and how it operates without having all of the obligations. The fact that it is non-voting is all clear and part of the description of the position. If you wanted something different, why did you run for/accept the offer for the position?
