One of the great casino managers, Glen Neely, hired me
to open the MGM in 1978. I remember sitting in his office
talking about the old days in Reno. He told me he dealt
crapless craps at the Picadilly in 1948. One time I was
sitting box on a dead game and Glen walked by and tossed
me some chips from an illegal club in Kentucky. There’s a
