I remember there was a long delay in the Kings Inn
opening due to a problem with the original owners.
The chips were ordered through Pioneer Game Supply and
hadn’t been paid for. Pioneer’s representative had them stored
in his garage and was eager to get paid. I went to see him and
he offered to sell them to me. I declined and the Kings Inn
eventually opened with their chips. I often wondered what
they would have done if I had bought them. I seldom went
