Re: Harold's Club grin Reno day 50
In Response To: Harold's Club grin Reno day 50 ()

I remember spending many an hour in Harolds Club playing the
slots and watching the shows at the Silver Dollar bar and Seventh
Floor Fun Room where I saw Louis Armstrong one time. I stocked
my apartment with Harolds glasses and girlie calendars. I would
go out to the Gun Club and watch the trap shooters when they
were in town. When they put up the mural stating “Dedicated In
All Humility To Those Who Blazed The Trail” in 1948, some locals
claimed it also referred to the Smith family originating friendly,
fun, and honest casinos.
