I love the history of the American Buffalo. It's a fantastic part of the American West story. I've made numerous trips to Yellowstone just to see them roam in their natural environment.
Last year at a large estate auction in Texas, me and my business partner tried to pick up a small ( 50 pc ) herd. We thought the ranch outside of Waco, TX. would be a great place. However, after some serios research we determined that our fencing was not quite adequate. We decided that we wanted the herd anyway, but we got outbid. I still would like to obtain a small herd. I believe that helping to repopulate the American Buffalo is a good thing. And yes, Buffalo Bill is a true American hero.
