I have many fond memories of the Sahara in the 60s
and 70s and watching the shows in the Casbar Lounge.
My all time favorite was Louis Prima and Keely Smth
with Sam Butera and the Witnesses belting out “That
Old Black Magic”, “Jump, Jive and Wail”, “Just a Gigolo”
and many others. Vegas was wild then with shows starting
at 3am. I sure miss the good old days in Las Vegas!
