Using the list on ChipGuide, there's about a dozen Bank Clubs in Nevada. All but one opening in the 1930s to 1950s.
By city/town: Ely, Fallon, Gerlach, Las Vegas, Lovelock, Pittman, Reno, Searchlight and Winnemucca. Includes variants like Barney's, Felix's, Bank-Palace and BS (Bank Saloon).
Multiple chips from some and none from others. One of the most prominent was the Bank Club Reno --
Of course, the name implies that their games are "banked" by the house/owners. In those days, there were non-banked games (craps, especially) in which players faded each other on a blanket in the back alley, a back room or illegal spot somewhere, or even in barracks or ships for the soldiers and sailors during WWII.
Today, the idea of "banked" games has given way to the modern "house" concept.
Also, I assume the European "spielbank" word for casino translates to games-bank, the same concept.
