Came across a reference to a "Circa 2" project that Derek Stevens may build downtown in the future, but no date estimate. We're talking 2-3 or more ??? years though.

The idea is that there's raw land to the west of the railroad tracks behind the Plaza, Main Street Station and Circa's so-called "Garage Mahal". To get to this undeveloped parcel, there would be a bridge from the Garage Mahal, over the railroad tracks and to the other side. (Or you can approach from the local streets surrounding the parcel too.)

Here's 2 maps - the first map shows the "Circa 2" area circled (It's zoned for gaming; other parts of the area are targeted for art museum(s) and other buildings. Las Vegas locals may know all about it, but it's first I heard about it.

The second map is a Google arial map, showing the raw land. A long-term proposition, but a new downtown casino -- possibly. And years away.
