The hotel elevator feature is not new, John. I first saw it in high tech places like Singapore 25 years ago. I have diamond status with Hilton, and many of their hotels now have it all over the world. And yes, you can go to other floors, just swipe and press. The only floor you don’t have to swipe for, is the lobby. Some hotels now have a feature whereby you may get your room key on your phone, check in online, go straight to your room, and then check out online. You literally never go near the front desk. But you have to be an advanced member of their club, with your passport and credit card on file. Keep travelin’ John!
