We stayed at Movenpick Hotel in Basel this past summer during a Viking pre-cruise extension. Very nice, modern hotel conveniently located to Basel SBB train station and the main trolley stop, with an excellent breakfast. Found the technology in use to operate the elevator intriguing, couldn't tell you if you could get off on another floor or not.
