If the paper magazine goes the way of all flesh, what possible incentive is there to get new members to join the Club?

I am a former two time member of the Club, R-8085 and R-8888 and I joined, and rejoined, for the sole purpose of getting the club magazine. I did not renew only because others said they would send me their magazines. I had a complete run up to 2023 and I refer to these magazines many times each month.

I just recently filled the two holes in my collection buying the Burgel Estate issue and the Members Collectors Stories issues from 2024, on .

My $.02: NOT having a paper magazine will be the end of the Club quicker than having a magazine and paying the costs. Jim Kruse is 100% correct regarding life members who prepaid years in advance expecting to receive the club magazine four times every year. A bait-and-switch. I truly feel bad for them if this comes to fruition.

And if you don’t want to hear a current non-member, such as myself, opinion on a Club matter then post this on the hermetically-sealed club forum that no one reads and not on a PUBLIC forum, like The Chipboard.
