The board and I are just trying to make sure the club survives (and thrives). If you successfully sue, you will have bought a few years of a magazine and doomed the club to bankruptcy, so what will you and your fellow plaintiffs really have gained? I'm hoping cooler heads prevail and your attorney advises you to put your money into keeping the printed magazine alive rather than sealing the club's fate and making your attorney rich. But you can do whatever you like.
