Doing the value math.

Take melt lets say melt is $48.00 an ounce

48 X .6 = $28.80 in silver.

That being said, there are plenty of silver strikes that are worth more than melt value. Especially when you consider that if you take the centers to a local coin or pawn shop they will offer you somewhere around 9% back of spot to buy from you. They have to make a buck ya know.
