I’m probably pushing the envelope a little, with this one. The brochure says “Carol Lombard and Clark Gable came here to play high stakes poker games with the local cattle barons.” That’s gambling, which qualifies the Genoa Bar as a small town casino…by my standards (for collection purposes).
We went to the Genoa Bar, probably in the 1990’s. Unfortunately, I rarely took a camera on vacation, until I got a digital camera in 2003…so no photos
Gold Hill and Silver City are both small communities that we’ve passed through on our way from Carson City to Virginia City.
