Re: Pleasant Valley grin Small town day 63

I would occasionally stop in the Jubilee Inn on trips
through Pleasant Valley. Roy Pagni, was a Washoe
County commissioner and was usually tending bar.
According to Fuller they had a crap and poker game
at one time but all I ever saw was a 21 game and it
was never open. When Roy was up for re-election
the table would disappear. The place was mainly a
supper club anyway. Roy kept the Jubilee chips in a
large vase behind the bar and would sell me a couple
when I came in. The place was sold and torn down to
make way for some kind of development but that never
happened. The two poles that supported the sign are
still standing at the bottom of Washoe Hill.
