I remember talking with Evan Thompson who said he
lived in the bottle house at one time and getting a $100
Exchange Club chip from him. Norman Westmoreland
owned the train station and operated a bar and casino
in the 30s and 40s. He also had a couple of working
girls upstairs. At one time he had a brothel in Ash Meadows
and a bar in Las Vegas. After he died his sister turned
the casino into a museum and curio shop. I remember
when it was open and finding some of the chips which
only has a clover (see photo). I also remember when the
bar was open but changed from when “Wes” had it.
