Great little town, with lots of gaming history. My old friend from Hawthorne , told me that when the Capooch Club closed in Gerlach the chips were brought to Hawthorne. He told me that he bought the entire rack from Joe, owner of Joe's Tavern. Me and John split the chips up. Most were in horrible worn condition we kept the best ones, and used the rest for target practice.
