Haven’t been to Gerlach for a while. Bruno Selmi at the
Country Club was a character. These early photos show
him behind the bar. His wife dealt 21 and yelled at me for
looking at a double down card and betting over the $5
limit. She also dealt at the Nitecap (blue front). I had to
be careful rat-holing chips. The roulette wheel was gone
but Bruno gave me a set of the chips. When the joint burned
down he rebuilt it back exactly as it was. The bar was removed
and replaced with a restaurant. The bar photo is the the
Black Rock which was previously the Capooch Club.
