Thanks, I was looking forward to this one. I got started collecting Elko, because we took the Casino Express to the Red Lion back then. I don't recall how many times, but I know I had a digital camera in 1998 and did a set. I picked up the chips off the tables, and one trip, short on cash, I did manage to buy some from the casino manager at the Gold Country, where I met him at 3AM.
Commercial still had Keno and table games.
A much later trip, maybe the last, in the possible year 2002, the chip manager said he had some old chips, they found in a bag in the vault, after the chip destruction. (too bad he said, I missed them) But I got these.
According to the lady at the cage, who had worked both casinos, Red Lion Motor Inn and the Red Lion casino, now at the new location, they never had roulette. Yet that last group exists and some show signs of being used. Forever a mystery.
And last in the above image, the famous, or infamous, LE 25 Cowboy Poetry, individually numbered, which was only released two years.
