Since the ChipGuide was moved to the new server, emails sent to GMAIL and some other recipients have been rejected due to SMTP authentication issues. I spent the last two weeks working with the ISP to resolve the problem, but they were not very helpful. It was finally determined that the email program we were using would not work on the new server. We were using the basic email program provided with PHP. Instead it was suggested that I install and use a different email program called PHPMailer. PHPMailer was installed and successfully tested with GMAIL. The program that Admins use to send emails to contributors was updated with the new email program and it works. Throughout the rest of the weekend I will update the other programs that send emails to use PHPMailer. Thanks for your patience while this important issue got resolved.
