Re: Laughlin -Worth a 1 day visit?

I used to swing through Laughlin for a 1-night stay every couple of years, but I haven't been there in 10 years +/-.

I'm considering adding 1 extra night to my June 2026 convention trip and stay in Laughlin -- doing a chip run to the 9 open casinos*. The downside is that Laughlin can be VERY hot in June!

*Currently open in Laughlin, per ChipGuide: Avi, Aquarius, Edgewater, Golden Nugget, Harrah's, Pioneer, Regency, Riverside, Tropicana.

So what's the opinion (from anyone) on Laughlin -- worth a visit or not? If so, where's the best place(s) to stay? Best poker room(s)? Best JOB poker slots? Notable restaurants?

Or is it on the downhill slope now?

If I go, I'd probably check out Searchlight, Cal-Nev-Ari, Railroad Pass, Boulder City-adjacent casinos too. Any live game action / chips in those places?

Inquiring minds want to know. grin
