The ChipGuide logon policy is:

Logons are good for 1 week.
After a week, your logon expires and you have to logon again.
When you logon, a check is made to see that you are a current CCA member.
We need to do that once a week.

Passwords are good for 1 year.
After a year your password expires and you have to reset your password.
This is a check to make sure that the CCA has your current email address on file and that you are a current member.
We need to do that once a year.
