Angel story

Many years ago, maybe around 2005, I attended a COMDEX trade show in Las Vegas. Angel had a booth at the
show introducing their playing card line.

Many exhibitors had elaborate booths near 10000-20000 square feet, with products well displayed and touted by
well qualified models. A lot of money went into these large booths with lighting, sound, exhibits, samples, etc.

This was about the time we were putting together the series of playing card reference books.
We talked with several card manufacturers and they were extremely helpful with info and samples.

Then we found the Angel booth. Size was about 10 x 10 foot with one lonely display cabinet, a sign on the back wall,
5 all male representatives with very limited english, and a hand-full of card decks displayed inside the display case and no available samples.

It's interesting to see that from a small company representation to what they must be today as far as placement in the industry.
