My Chip for Today... Barney (no "s") Help with ID

An interesting chip from Barney's Lake Tahoe, but spelled without the apostrophe "s" normally used on Barney's chips.

Campiglia/Wells Guide indicates that this chip is the 1st issue Barney's $5 gaming chip and is supplementary described as: "(Chip only marked "Barney" with a gold circle.)"

Prior to today, this chip has not been added to ChipGuide. I have added it today, and it can be seen there after midnight.

The principal question here is whether this version is an example of the "gold circle" noted by Campiglia/Wells, or is it an attempt to cancel the chip?

Do any of you Lake Tahoe specialists have an example of this chip for comparison purposes of the "gold circle".

Thanks for looking, and I look forward to any replies.
