I played my first hand of 21 in Nevada at the Tonopah Club
in 1966. There was a full casino including Keno and an ornate
brass cashier’s cage. It burned many years ago. I stayed at
the Mizpah Hotel before it was remodeled. They also had a full
casino including quarter craps and Keno. Later they had a lounge
show direct from Paris. The Ace Club was changed to the Tonopah
Belle with 21 and Craps. Shown are photos from the Ace Club
that are displayed there now. Tonopah was a wild place during
the war years.
