the casinos at Aqueduct and Empire Casino in Yonkers currently only have electronic games but both have spent considerable money applying for 1 of 3 downstate casino licenses that are going to be issued by the end of the year. They are trying to add live games with chips.

So, maybe the trend is not so simple and not a straight line toward chip elimination.
