Actually, Binion’s silver stash which weighed 48,000 pounds
and worth $7.000,000 (then) was buried next to the main Hiway
where part of the Nugget’s parking lot is now. There was steel
tower there that said Nevada Ginniing (cotton was a major crop
in Pahrump). Doby Doc lived in Pahrump in the 60s, I would think
on the Binion property, and I’ve heard he buried some gold somewhere.
I’ve also heard every inch of the Binion property has been gone
over with metal detectors.
