Yes, I recall it. Your type of 1st hand feedback is what I'm looking for. And in particular, what a younger or first-timer at the convention with just a few years in chip collecting might find in going to the trade room.

I agree about the more experienced / specialized collector comment, though I've seen some other "old guys" in the trade rooms too.

Maybe it just comes down to whether your collecting style works better on the show floor (where chips and dollars change hands) vs. the trade room (where chips for chips change hands) ... or ALL of the above.
